President of Turkish club, Trabzonspor, Ertugrul Dogan has refused to pay €15m for Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu.

Trabzonspor want to sign Onuachu on a permanent deal from Southampton after he impressed during his loan spell last season.

Despite the current state of negotiation, Dogan is still hopeful that they can strike a deal before the closure of the Turkish transfer window.

“Onuachu was a player who played for us on loan last season. His club [Southampton] insistently demands around 15 million euros. We offered 8 million euros with bonuses,” Dogan told Tivibu Spor via NTVSpor.

“Trabzonspor cannot give 15 million euros to a football player right now. A player is 20-22 years old, it is our coach’s request, then it will be considered
