Former Super Eagles midfielder, John Mikel Obi, has said Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall cannot help Chelsea this season.
Dewsbury-Hall arrived this summer from Leicester City in a £30 million deal.
The 25-year-old scored 12 goals in the Championship last season under new Blues boss, Enzo Maresca.
Dewsbury-Hall signed a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge and made his debut off the bench in the 2-0 defeat to Manchester City on Sunday.
Mikel Obi has now said that Dewsbury-Hall is not the calibre of player to help Chelsea.
He said on beIN Sports: “Dewsbury-hall, I have nothing against this player.
“It’s not his fault, it was the club who brought him to the club. He can’t help the team.”
