Senior advisor at AC Milan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has admitted the Serie A club are still monitoring Manu Kone in a bid to sign him after the signing of Youssouf Fofana.
According to Ibrahimovic, Milan is following Kone, who currently plays for Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach.
“Kone is a player we are following, one who has grown a lot and one we will have to see about,” Ibrahimovic said as quoted by Sky Sports.
“He made the cut for the Olympics, but we will have to see what we have in mind, but yes, we are following him.
“Of course the arrival of Fofana closes a bit of space (in the team) because they play in the same role.”
