Transfer: Man Utd to sign another Brazilian midfielder for Ten Hag

Manchester United have opened talks with Nottingham Forest in a bid to sign their Brazilian midfielder Danilo.

The Red Devils want to bolster their manager Erik ten Hag’s squad, particularly the midfield area, having signed three defenders (Leny Yoro, Matthijs De Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui) and one striker (Joshua Zirkzee) this summer.

Man United already has a Brazilian midfielder Casemiro who moved to Old Trafford from Real Madrid in 2022.

However, according to TNT Sports, Danilo’s stellar form and £34 million asking price have caught the eye of Man United.

Ten Hag’s side are now exploring their options as they seek to land the 23-year-old.

Meanwhile, Should Danilo arrive at Man United, it could be the end of Christian Eriksen, who has been told that he is free to find another club with Anderlecht interested in the former Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan star.

Eriksen is about to enter the final year of his United contract so the Premier League club is keen on cashing in.
