Former Bayern Munich and Manchester United midfielder, Owen Hargreaves has named Real Madrid defender, Dani Caravajal as probably the most underrated player in the world.
Los Blancos beat Atalanta 2-0 in the final of the UEFA Super Cup played at National Stadium Warsaw in Poland.
The defender has been outstanding for club and country in recent seasons.
He was pivotal for Spain’s Euro 2024 triumph this summer.
He also helped Real Madrid to claim the Champions League last season and just last night, he was crowned the Super Cup winner.
Speaking about the 32-year-old Spaniard, Hargreaves said (via @MadridXtra on X):
“Carvajal is probably the most underrated player in the world.”
