I’m vindicated – Shehu Sani on Sumaila revealing Senators earn N21m monthly

Senate Shehu Sani said he has been vindicated regarding his claim on the monthly earnings of Nigerian senators.

The statement comes after Kano South Senator, Sumaila disclosed that senators get N21 million monthly as running cost.

Sani said that Sumaila has now confirmed that the “monthly alert is N21 million and not N1 million as claimed by the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission, RMAFC.”

In a post on his X handle on Wednesday, the social critic said: “Yesterday, the RMFAC refuted my statement but I’m now vindicated by Senator Kawu Sumaila who confirmed that the monthly alert is N21 million and not N1 million. RMFAC make una mind yourself.
