The Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has reassured of his administration’s commitment to seeking justice for the 16-year-old teenager killed by a soldier during the hunger protest in Zaria.
DAILY POST recalls that a 16-year-old boy, Isma’il Muhammad, was shot during a violent hunger protest in Zaria by a soldier while security operatives were enforcing the 24-hour curfew imposed by the Kaduna State Government.
Recall that Governor Uba Sani had sent a delegation to the parents of the deceased in Zaria, extended condolences for the sudden death of their beloved son, and promised that the state government would ensure justice for the late victim.

In a meeting with the father of the deceased, Isma’il Muhammad, Governor Uba Sani further reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that justice prevails.
Governor Uba Sani wrote on his verified Facebook:
“To comfort the family and reassure them of my commitment to seeking justice for the deceased, I held a meeting with the father of Isma’il Muhammad, the teenager who was killed when Nigerian Army troops mobilized to disperse a mob in the Samaru area of Sabon Gari LG during the recent protest.
“The father, Muhammad Hussaini, expressed appreciation to the State Government for sending a high-powered delegation to condole with him at his Samaru residence and for the assurances of a full and speedy investigation into the killing of his son.
“I wish to express our profound gratitude to our dear President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his concern, sympathy, and assurances that justice will be done in this matter.”
