Real Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, has backed his team to beat Atalanta in the European Super Cup final.
The Champions League holders will take on the Europa League champions at the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw, Poland, on Wednesday night.
Speaking to UEFA’s official media channels ahead of Real Madrid’s clash with Atalanta, the Belgian said Carlo Ancelotti’s side will try to beat the Serie A club.
“We’re going to be ready to play against Atalanta. They play some good football, they press all over the pitch.
“We played against them in the Champions League a few years back and it was a really hard game.
“We know this will be a difficult match but we’re going to try our best to win it. We want to clinch the trophy,” Courtois said.
