Chido Obi-Martin has decided to leave Arsenal over disagreements over which team he will play in and money.
The 16-year-old has already confirmed his exit from the club.
Obi-Martin’s departure has left fans disappointed and furious with the teenager.
The striker could join Arsenal’s rivals Manchester United over a potential move to Old Trafford but is yet to confirm where he plans to continue his promising career.
Arsenal wanted Obi-Martin to continue with the club and offered him a place in their Under-18 squad with the opportunity to play up for the Under-21s when possible and potentially even train with the first team, according to the Daily Mail.
However, Obi-Martin allegedly wanted to go straight to the Under-21s, while there was also a disagreement over money. The teenager was said to be asking for an amount that was “very far away from what Arsenal were willing to pay.”
