Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has said Jurrien Timber is “like a new signing”.
The 23-year-old missed almost all of his first season with the Gunners after suffering an ACL injury on the opening day of 2023-24.
Timber made his return at the end of last campaign and has been involved in the two pre-season friendlies.
“He’s like a new signing for us, a big addition to the team,” Arteta said after Arsenal beat Man United 2-1 on Saturday night.
“Now he’s getting the rhythm because obviously he’s missed a lot of football in the last year or so.
“Just look at him… his pressing, his leadership, his composure”.
