EPL: Just wait and see – Chelsea star opens up on Maresca’s style of football

Chelsea defender, Tosin Adarabioyo, has opened up about the football style of new Blues boss, Enzo Maresca.

Both Tosin and Maresca are new at Stamford Bridge as they both joined this summer.

The Italian replaced Mauricio Pochettino at Stamford Bridge, having won the Championship with Leicester City last season.

Tosin, on the other hand, left Fulham on a free transfer at the end of the last season.

Maresca provided a glimpse of his playing style in the 2-2 draw with Wrexham, being Tosin’s unofficial debut for the Blues.

The Italian used a fluid formation depending on which team had the ball.

Manchester City youth team product, Tosin, who played 45 minutes in that game, spoke about Maresca’s style, as quoted by Football.London.

“It suits every player here really. We’re all very talented footballers, and we’re looking forward to playing the style.

“From day one, he’s been implementing his style of play, and we’re all buying into it. It’s a lot of football. We’re enjoying it.

“Wait and see. I’ll say wait and see. We’ll show a glimpse of that in pre-season, but come the first game of the season, you’ll definitely see the style,” he said.
