Arsenal have reached an agreement with Real Sociedad midfielder Mikel Merino.
According to Football Transfers, the Premier League North London club and Merino have agreed personal terms over a switch to the English club.
The Gunners recently opened talks with Merino’s representatives after Euro 2024.
However, Arsenal have yet to speak with Real Sociedad and no bid has been launched at this stage for the player.
Arsenal are keen to boost manager Mikel Arteta’s squad this summer ahead of the new 2024–25 season.
The Gunners finished in second place on the Premier League table behind champions Manchester City last season.
