Real Madrid on Tuesday announced that their basketball player, Fabien Causeur has left the club after his contract with the club expired.
The Spanish club in a statement on their website expressed gratitude, admiration and affection for Causeur’s commitment and exemplary conduct throughout his seven seasons at the club.
Causeur lifted 14 trophies: 2 European Cups, 4 League titles, 2 Copas del Rey and 6 Spanish Super Cups during his time at Madrid.
He made 486 appearances for Real Madrid, placing him as the third foreigner on the club’s basketball team’s all-time appearances list.
“Real Madrid wishes him and his family all the best in this new stage of their lives,” Real Madrid’s statement read in part.
