Transfer: Nottingham Forest, Ipswich Town battle for Iheanacho’s signature

Nottingham Forest and Ipswich Town are vying for the signature of free agent Kelechi Iheanacho.

Iheanacho is still weighing up his future after leaving Leicester City at the end of June.

According to Football Insider, Forest and Premier League new boys Ipswich Town have registered their interest in the Nigeria international.

The forward has offers on the table from clubs in Turkey and Greece but Forest and Ipswich are determined to convince him to stay in England.

The two clubs are set to make contract proposals to the striker.
