They don’t have Champions League football — Leboeuf discourages Spain star from joining Chelsea

Former Chelsea star Frank Leboeuf has advised Spain winger Nico Williams not to join the Blues this summer.

Leboeuf insisted that Chelsea don’t have Champions League football.

Williams was impressive for Athletic Bilbao last season.

He scored eight goals and provided 19 assists in all competitions for the Spanish LaLiga club.

His performance for Spain at Euro 2024 attracted a lot of interest in Europe so much so he has been linked with Barcelona, Arsenal and Chelsea.

“Nico Williams would be fantastic for Chelsea, but do you think he would go to Chelsea? They don’t have Champions League football,” Leboeuf said (via FourFourTwo).

“I follow La Liga and he has been brilliant for Bilbao all season. To put it this way, if I were Williams, I would never go to Chelsea.”
