Bayelsa United has said they are not aware of midfielder Garando Tekena’s transfer to Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions, Rangers.
Rangers announced the signing of the player on Thursday.
The Flying Antelopes also announced the signing of two other players.
Bayelsa United however insisted that Tekena is their player.
“The management of Bayelsa United Football Club is not aware of Tekena Garando move to Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL side Rangers Int’l despite his viral pictures in the internet,” the club wrote on X.
Tekena scored five goals for the Okara Meremu-led side last season.
