Former England striker, Alan Shearer has singled out Chelsea captain, Reece James for criticism following their 4-1 loss to Newcastle United on Saturday.
James was shown a second yellow in the 73rd minute for a foul on Anthony Gordon.
The right-back has started the Blues’ last three top-flight fixtures after returning from a hamstring problem, but will now serve a one-match suspension.
Speaking on BBC Radio, Shearer said: “Chelsea were terrible in the second half.
“They were made to look terrible by Newcastle, who put them under pressure.
“Kieran Trippier played really well, Reece James didn’t. Anthony Gordon gave him a really tough time and he got frustrated.
“Gordon seems to be really enjoying his time at Newcastle. A bit of frustration from James and he got sent off.”
