Al Nassr forward, Sadio Mane has sent a touching message to Cristiano Ronaldo after the former Manchester United star recently missed a crucial penalty during extra time in Portugal’s Euro 2024 last-16 clash against Slovenia.
The encounter ended in a goalless draw after 120 minutes.
However, Diogo Costa made three saves during the penalty shootout to ensure Portugal advanced to the last-8.
But Mane immediately posted a message on his Instagram story in support of his club teammate Ronaldo.
The Senegalese shared a screenshot from television showing Ronaldo crying and sent a message of support to the 39-year-old forward.
“You remain a great champion! CR7,” Mane wrote via his Instagram.
