Euro 2024: Rabiot fumes as he’s banned from France’s quarter-final

France midfielder Adrien Rabiot has said he is disgusted to be suspended for their Euro 2024 quarter-final clash.

Rabiot picked up a booking in their 1-0 win over Belgium in Monday’s last-16 match.

The former Juventus midfielder was shown a yellow card for a rough challenge on Belgium’s Jeremy Doku in the first half.

The decision has left Rabiot disappointed, but he remains confident that his teammates will perform well in his absence.

Speaking to RMC Sport, the 29-year-old said: “I’m disgusted to have taken this yellow. I find that the refereeing at the start of the match was a little limited. But I have confidence in the guys on the bench; I will be behind them.”
