Former Manchester United Defender, Rio Ferdinand, has said England can win Euro 2024 if manager Gareth Southgate introduces three players into his starting line-up.
The Three Lions qualified for the Round of 16 following a 0-0 draw with Slovenia on Tuesday night.
However, the team has come in for plenty of criticism after three uninspiring performances in the group stage.
Ferdinand, who is working as a pundit for the BBC at the tournament, believes Southgate should put his faith in the young players.
He wrote on X: “If Kobbie / Palmer + Gordon start our next games…. We will go on & win this tournament! Trust The Fearless Youngsters Gareth.”
Kobbie Mainoo, Cole Palmer and Anthony Gordon all came off the bench in the second half against Slovenia.
