#AkwaIbomTechWeek2023: Enugu Commissioner frowns at Akwa Ibom govt. for not sponsoring event

As Akwa Ibom Tech Week enters it’s peak stage, different speakers have held different sessions and different round-tablse discussions as well.

In one of the sessions today, the serving Commissioner for ICT in Enugu State, Prince Engr Lawrence Eze has commended the private sector for putting up such a magnificent impact making event in the state.

He went further to say that for Akwa Ibom state to build a tech thriving eco system, they must be collaboration between the public sector and the private sector.

The Enugu Executive member added that they would record greater reach, significant publicity, greater success, if the State government had contributed to execution of the event.

He stressed that the state government should get more intentional in building a thriving eco system by supporting the private sector while registering his displeasure on realizing the event is sponsored entirely by the private sector.

In other sessions, different leaders of tech echo system in Nigeria spoke on diverse topics as the event enters Day 4 on Thursday 02 November, 2023
