Scotland: Balogun charges Rangers teammate to continue impressive form

Leon Balogun is upbeat Rangers can maintain their impressive run of form when they take on hosts Aberdeen at the Pittodrie on Sunday.

The Gers are unbeaten in their last eight games across all competitions.

The defender wants Philippe Clement’s side to continue where they left off before the international break.
“I think it was vital that we had more training time in this international break based on the fact that the manager has been here for six weeks now. He wants to get more of his ideas and his philosophy, get it to us clearer and I think it has worked really well so far which has been displayed in the performances as well, ” Balogun told a press conference.

“The break was nice. We had quite a decent squad size still here and we worked on some things physical and tactical obviously. I think everybody is looking forward to getting going again this weekend.”

The 35-year-old has made three league appearances for the Light Blues.
