Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he punished striker Nicolas Jackson after he was suspended in the Premier League.
Jackson’s fifth yellow card saw him miss one game for the Blues.
Pochettino himself has been suspended for confronting referee Anthony Taylor immediately after their 4-4 draw with Manchester City before the international week.
But he says he gave himself a punishment after being suspended for arguing with officials.
Pochettino told reporters: “[Jackson] had to run [for his punishment].
“And I am going to pay for dinner because I got suspended and I cannot run, so I prefer to pay.”
