Super Falcons winger, Toni Payne is set to complete a move to Women’s Super League club, Everton.
Payne was recently released by the Spanish Femenino side, Sevilla following the expiration of her contract.
According to The Guardian, the 29-year-old will complete a move to Everton this week.
The former Ajax player made 30 appearances for Sevilla last season with six goals to her name.
The WSL transfer window officially opens on 24 June and will remain open until 13 September, before the new season begins on 21-22 September.
Payne represented the United States at youth international level but switched her allegiance to Nigeria and was part of the Super Falcons squad that reached the knockout stage of last summer’s Women’s World Cup.
