NDA conducts range exercise in Kaduna, urges communities to avoid area

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has announced that it will conduct a range classification exercises for cadets of Direct Short Service Course 28 (Army) and Direct Short Service Course 32 (Air Force) from June 25 to 28.

This was contained in a statement by the academy’s spokesperson, Maj Mohammed Maidawa, on Monday in Kaduna.

Maidawa urged the public, particularly the communities of Mando, Tsamiya, Kauya, and Afaka, to avoid the area.

According to him, the exercise is expected to be held at the NDA Open Range in Afaka.

“The NDA assures the general public that all necessary safety measures have been put in place for the successful conduct of the exercise,” Maidawa said.

He, however, called on the public to avoid trespassing in the general area throughout the period of the exercise.
