Enyimba forward Chijioke Mbaoma has claimed the top scorer award in the Nigeria Premier Football League for the 2023–24 season.
The 21-year-old was on target in Enyimba’s 2-0 win against Plateau United on Sunday.
Mbaoma scored 17 goals and provided two assists in 34 matches.
The powerful striker beat Remo Stars’ Sikiru Alimi to the individual accolade.
Alimi finished the campaign with 15 goals.
Mbaoma succeeds Enyimba striker Emeka Obioma, who was the top scorer last season.
