Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo achieved another piece of history as they beat Turkey 3-0 at Euro 2024 on Saturday.
Goals from Bernardo Silva and Bruno Fernandes, either side of Samet Akaydin’s own goal, secured an easy win.
Ronaldo set up Fernandes to tap into an empty net for the last goal of the match.
That was the 39-year-old’s seventh assist in the competition, another record to add to his burgeoning collection.
The result ensured Roberto Martinez’s men qualify for the last-16 as group winners.
