Former Real Madrid midfielder, Sami Khedira has named Mesut Ozil as the best player he’s ever seen.
Khedira and Ozil were teammates during their time together at Real Madrid and the Germany national team.
Speaking with Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand on his show, FIVE, Khedira branded Ozil, a former Arsenal playmaker, as technically wise.
“For me, personal wise [Ozil] was the best player I have ever seen,” the former Juventus star said.
“Technical wise and his vision, like, you know, his first touch, his movement between the lines and to understand the game how to give passes to the strikers…so the best I have ever seen.”
Ozil had since retired from professional football.
