Nigeria forward, David Okereke will return to his parent club, Cremonese after Torino failed to trigger the option to sign him on a permanent deal.
Okereke linked up with Torino on a six-month loan deal in January with a purchase option.
The 26-year-old failed to register a goal or an assist in nine appearances for the Maroons.
According to Toro News, the deadline for activating the purchase clause expired on June 14.
Cremonese are now expected to sell the player, who has just one-year remaining on his contract.
He has registered 11 goals and five assists in 57 appearances across all competitions since linking up with Cremonese from Belgian Pro League outfit, Club Brugge in 2022.
