Eid-El Kabir: Obey rule of law, cooperate with personnel – NSCDC warns Jigawa residents

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Jigawa State Command, has deployed three thousand personnel to provide maximum security for the forthcoming Eid-el-Kabir Sallah celebrations.

The spokesman of the command, ASC Badruddeen Tijjani Mahmud, disclosed this in a statement issued to DAILY POST.

He explained that personnel were drawn from various departments and units, including Rapid Response, Special Armed Squad, Counter Terrorism, CNAI, Intelligence, Anti-Vandal, CBRNE, Operations, Disaster and Medical units.

Tijjani said the deployment will cover all public places in the state, including government institutions and installations, shopping malls, Eid grounds, durbar routes, worship places, palaces and motor parks.

State Commandant Muhammad Danjuma (CC) urged the general population to obey the rule of law, cooperate with his personnel, and report any suspicious activities to the nearest security formation.
