Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has visited the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, on Thursday to convey his gratitude for the recent favourable verdict from the Court of Appeal in Abuja.
Sule, flanked by his predecessors, senators Abdullahi Adamu and Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, conveyed his gratitude for the appellate court’s decision that overturned the election tribunal’s earlier ruling, which had initially ousted him and declared PDP’s David Ombugadu as the winner.
Others who accompanied Governor Sule include the representative of Nasarawa State at the Federal Executive Council (FEC) and Police Affairs Minister (State), Mrs Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, Rep. Abubakar Hassan Nalaraba, and the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Ibrahim Abdullahi Balarabe.
DAILY POST recalls that Ganduje had said, “Nasarawa belongs to APC, and APC belongs to Nasarawa, we are in charge, and we will continue to be in charge,” after the tribunal verdict that earlier sacked Sule and declared Ombugadu the winner.
