Okoye moved to Udinese last summer and after warming the bench in the early part of the season, he became the club’s first choice goalkeeper.

The Nigerian played a pivotal role in the Zebras relegation survival.

The 24-year-old, who has three years remaining on his contract, made 22 appearances across all competitions for Fabio Cannavaro’s side last season.
