Turkish Super Lig outfit, Caykur Rizespor has celebrated Ibrahim Olawoyin’s invitation to the Super Eagles.
Olawoyin has been called up as a replacement for Bayer Leverkusen winger, Nathan Tella.
Tella excused himself from the Super Eagles 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic due to family reasons.
It’s the first time Olawoyin will be called up by the Super Eagles.
“We wished success to our player Ibrahim Olawoyin, who was called to the squad of the Nigeria national team for the matches against South Africa and Benin in the 2026 World Cup African qualifier”, the club wrote on X.
The 26-year-old scored eight goals in 36 league appearances for Rizespor last season.
