Benue: ‘Our farmers will have the right value for their farm produce’ – Alia

Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has said farmers in the state will have the right value for their farm produce with the new innovation by the Benue Investment and Property Company, BIPC.

He stated this while commissioning Benue Investment and Property Companies, BIPC, projects in Makurdi .

Gov Alia also reiterated his administration’s commitment to revamp and build a minimum of 10 industries within the first 4 years of his administration.

Governor Alia said his government will work tirelessly to create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive and provide opportunities for the citizens to prosper.

He noted that the BIPC needs liquidity of not less than N7 billion to stabilize and drive the industrial revolution in the state.

“My government will support BIPC with an equity stake to float the Benue brewery and establish a juicer factory in the State.

“These steps are taken to ensure that our teeming youths would be gainfully employed and our farmers will have the right value for their farm produce.”
