Chelsea midfielder, Cole Palmer, has admitted he wanted Manchester City to win the Premier League title this year.
Palmer only left the Etihad to sign for the Blues last summer.
However, Chelsea failed to challenge for the title, which was a three-way battle between City, Arsenal and Liverpool.
Pep Guardiola’s men ended up winning the title for a record fourth year in a row, finishing two points ahead of Arsenal.
“I was hoping Man City would win the title as I have got a lot of friends there, so I’m glad that they did it,” Palmer told The Sun.
“But there’s no regrets at all for the decision I took.”
