Sunshine Queens assistant coach, Shola Oyewusi is optimistic that the team can progress to the next stage of the 2024 Women’s President Federation Cup.
The Owena Whales will face Honey Badgers in the Round of 16 of the competition at the Enyimba International Stadium on Wednesday.
Oyewusi stated that the team will be psyched up to go for victory.
She also expressed confidence in the ability of the players to achieve a favourable result in the game.
“We have the squad that can do it, this is FA Cup and anything can happen,” she stated to the media.
“On our part as coaches, we will try our best to motivate the ladies in accordance with the philosophy of the head coach, Rafiu Oseni, to enable us come out victorious in tomorrow’s game.”
