The Nigeria Premier Football League has declined Katsina United’s request for the postponement of their matchday 33 game against Shooting Stars.
The NPFL stated that the request falls below the mandatory 72 hours before a change of match fixture can be effected.
The NPFL disclosed this in a memo sent to Katsina United in response to their request.
The NPFL urged Katsina United to put all logistics in place for a successful hosting of the game.
Katsina United will host Shooting Stars at the Muhammad Dikko Stadium on Sunday.
The North-West side are seventh on the NPFL table with 48 points.
