Former Sporting Lagos head coach, Paul Offor, has revealed the reason for his dismissal by the club.
Offor believed that some of the decisions he took during his time at the club cost him his job.
He, however, said he has no regrets for his actions.
“I think some of the reasons of what I did with the team was the reason why am not longer with the team,” he told the Abu Azeez podcast.
“When you come into a team as a coach sometimes you have to make radical decisions all your decisions won’t favour everybody.
“When I came in I observed the players and I saw the need for a clear out which I did and in the process I stepped on a lot of toes I don’t think I was forgiven for that.
“I’m happy with those decisions I took then.”
DAILY POST recalled that Offor was sacked following the team’s struggles in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
