The Federal government has been told to release the details of the N100 billion 2024 zonal intervention project budget.

Head of Tracka, Ayomide Ladipo, made this demand in a statement on Friday.

In January 2024, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu signed the N28.7 trillion 2024 Budget into law.

However, months later, the details of the N100 billion ZIP budget have yet to be released by the Nigerian government’s Budget Office.

“Tracka demands that the Budget Office of the Federation release the budgetary details of the N100 billion Zonal Intervention Project (ZIP) outlined in the 2024 Federal Government Budget.

“In previous years, the specifics of this section of the Federal Government budget were available on the Budget Office of the Federation’s website for public access”.
