Recall that the gang of gunmen attacked the same Sabon Garin community last week and abducted some women from the family of a commercial transporter.

The victims were yet to regain freedom before the recent attack.

The attack came barely a few weeks after another serious invasion of Sakajiki community where scores of people were killed with many others displaced.

Following the constant attacks, on Wednesday, residents of Sabon Garin Kaura took to the street to protest their anger.

They blocked the road leading to Gusau and started a fire until the Emir of Kaura Namoda came to address them.

The Monarch pleaded with the residents to allow innocent commuters continue with their daily activities and assured them the emirate would constantly engage the government until peace was restored in the state.
