The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has released further additional 36,540 UTME results.
Some 531 results were previously released. Now the total results released amount to 1,879,437.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr Fabian Benjamin, on Tuesday.
The board withheld some results pending further investigation but has made efforts to publish the results since then.
In the meantime, a false letter was circulated on social media, claiming that the board was contemplating rescheduling the exams because cybercriminals had hacked the results.
JAMB dismissed the letter and explained that the document’s contents did not bear any resemblance to a letter from them.
JAMB also urged religious institutions not to stray from their primary roles and not make false representations to the government.
It reiterated that all 2024 UTME results and previous years’ results remain intact and are not in any cloud storage.
It said it will continue to investigate any examination misconduct using footage captured by CCTV cameras.
