Former Manchester United and Liverpool man, Michael Owen, has hailed Arsenal forwards, Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard.
This was following their performance for the Gunners in their 1-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
The Gunners fought hard to claim all three points during their visit to Old Trafford to keep their title hopes alive.
However, a win for Manchester City at Tottenham today (Tuesday) could dash the hopes of Mikel Arteta and his boys to claim the title.
Beating the Red Devils in their backyard is always difficult and after the match, Owen noted that he was particularly impressed with Havertz and Trossard.
Trossard was the hero of the night, netting in the 20th minute with Havertz providing the assist.
Speaking on Premier League Productions, Owen said, “Havertz does particularly well. He just takes a look. He sees Casemiro and he is going to be playing him on side, so you might as well stay in the space.
“He thinks ‘right, this is going to give me a real advantage here’”
“But give all credit to Trossard, he times his run.
“I love seeing that attacking run as a centre-forward.
“Just waiting and waiting and waiting, then pouncing and a diagonal run. It was a good finish. But very avoidable from Man United.”
