Former Arsenal star Emmanuel Petit has suggested that the Gunners should sign Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho.
Petit believes Sancho would be an excellent addition to the Gunners.
Sancho, who commanded a hefty £73 million transfer fee, found himself sidelined from Manchester United’s first-team squad following a falling out with manager Erik ten Hag last September.
Despite the rift, Sancho’s loan spell at Dortmund has seen him rediscover his form, notably shining in the Champions League with his electrifying dribbling skills.
Petit, speaking to Grosvenor Sport, commended Sancho’s rejuvenation, describing him as a new and explosive player.
“I was saying how impressed I was with Jadon Sancho in the Champions League on commentary,” Petit said.
“He looks like a new player, so fit, thin and explosive.
“He’s like dynamite on the pitch, so explosive on the ball with [Karim] Adeyemi on the left flank, so hard to catch.
“He’s back to his best and Man United look so far away from them, so if Arsenal want him, why not?
“You can put the best player in the world at Man United at the moment and they’d look average in two months.”
