The association of the Nigeria Premier Football League manager has congratulated Enyimba’s technical adviser, Finidi George, on his appointment as the Super Eagles head coach.
Remo Stars head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, who is the association’s secretary general, welcomed the new Super Eagles coach.
Ogunmodede wished Finidi George all the best at his new job.
“Welcome on board, MON,” he wrote on his X handle.
“On behalf of the league club managers, we wish you the very best coach, NEW SUPER EAGLES COACH.”
Finidi is expected to sign a one-year deal with the option of an additional year.
The 53-year-old’s appointment was confirmed by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, on Monday.
