Audu disappointed with Wikki Tourists failure to secure NNL playoff ticket

Wikki Tourists head coach, Azeez Audu, has expressed his disappointment with his team’s failure to secure a place in the Nigeria National League Super Eight playoff.

Audu, however, appealed to the Bauchi Elephants supporters to be calm.

He commended the players and the management team for their effort.

“It was disheartening to lose at this point but, it was pre- destined by Allah, we appealed for calm from all quarters,” he stated in a post-match interview.

“Everybody has done their best, from the commissioner,management, technical crew, players and other backroom staff to ensure that we gain promotion this season but our effort has not yielded the desired result.

“We should therefore remember that this is our destiny and we should accept it in good faith.”

El-Kanemi Warriors, Nasarawa United, Sokoto United and Madiba FC are the other teams that qualified for the NNL Super Eight playoff.
