Sunshine Stars lacked direction – Boboye

Sunshine Stars technical adviser Kennedy Boboye has revealed that the team lacked a productive direction before the appointment of the new Ondo State Commissioner of Sports, Saka Yusuf Ogunleye.

The former Akwa United coach urged the club supporters not to relent in their support for the team.

DAILY POST recalls that Ogunleye suspended Mr Tunde Ogunja as the General Manager of Sunshine Stars immediately after his appointment.

“I’m happy you came and I’m impressed with what you’ve done in the past few weeks,” he stated.

“I’m glad we are getting a direction gradually because since my appointment what the team lacked was direction because no one gives productive directives, but now things are taking shape.”

Sunshine Stars will be in action against Shooting Stars in Ibadan on Sunday (today).
