Abia Warriors captain Augustine Njoku has said he is optimistic that the team will get a positive result against Sporting Lagos.
Njoku stated that the players have worked hard to get a good result in the game.
The Umuahia based club will be up against Sporting Lagos at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in a matchday 32 fixture on Sunday.
“I am very, very sure and confident that we are going to get a positive result come Sunday in Lagos,” he boasted.
“We’ve put in a lot of work during the week. The coaches have also put in a lot of work to prepare us, the players, and I believe and I’m confident we are going to get nothing less than a positive result.”
Abia Warriors were held to a 1-1 draw when both teams met earlier in the season in Umuahia.
