Oyo FA sacks two referees for poor officiating in NLO

The Oyo State Football Association has stepped down two referees from the ongoing Nationwide League One over poor officiating.

The suspended referees from the Oyo State NLO center are Olorunyomi Victor and Omofoye Godwin.

Oomofoye was the assistant referee in the game between Shooting Stars Team B and Black Scorpion of Ogbomoso on Sunday, April 21.

The referee was suspected to have aided the Oluyole Warriors junior team to a 3-1 victory over their opponent.

Meanwhile, Olorunyomi was alleged to have influenced the result of the game involving Positive FC and Oyomesi on Friday.
