Ondo APC Primary: Aiyedatiwa’s commissioner beaten up for allegedly hiding result sheets

The Commissioner for Health in Ondo State, Banji Ajaka, was on Saturday beaten to stupor by some angry members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, at Ugbo Ward 3, Ilaje Local Government Area of the state, for allegedly hiding result sheets during the party’s primary election.

Ajaka was attacked after some members of the party, who had been waiting to vote, demanded for the result sheet after electoral officers fingered him as holding the material.

According to a source, “Ajaka received beating in his home town as his name was mentioned with the Aiyedatiwa camp that compromised the system by removing the result sheet from the materials given to them.

“The place was like the ocean of water for the supporters of Chief Olusola Oke.

“Ugbo Ward 3 people were seriously angry with the ugly situation as they all believed that is time for Oke to govern this state.”

While confirming the incident, Ajaka stated that he was attacked because of allegations that he was with the result sheet.

He said the mob descended on him while he was trying to explain what happened.
