Doma United extend unbeaten run

Doma United extended their unbeaten run to five games in the Nigeria Premier Football League following a hard-earned 1-0 win against Plateau United at the Pantami Township Stadium.

Andrew Majalisa scored the winning goal in the 22nd minute.

Akinade Onigbinde’s side has now scored six goals in the last six outings without conceding.

The Savannah Scorpions moved to second place on the NPFL table with 17 points from nine games.

At the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, hosts Bendel Insurance and Kwara United battled to a thrilling 2-2 draw.

Kwara United took the lead through Sad’eeq Yusuf in the 14th minute.

The home team fought back, with Stephen Sodje equalising 13 minutes later.

United regained the lead six minutes before the break courtesy of a fine strike from Godwin Oshagbemi.

Ismael Seriki, however, earned a point for Insurance with a goal deep into stoppage time.

The remaining matchday nine games will be played on Sunday.
